CRUELTY Very nice collection of scapes. Concise sounding. Hard to choose a favorite one, as they all slip into each other. Favorite track: The Overload.

about

I recorded these tracks during my first two years in Portland. My original goal was to make an album of 20 two minute tracks which manifested into a larger composition - this never happened. What I got instead was a bizarre conglomeration of sketches and ideas I recorded and forgot during various seasons. I chose the title "Blood Songs" to recognize the fact that these were my ideas, emotions and experiments over the course of eight different seasons; these songs are in my blood. When I listen to these songs now, I can hear the season from which it was birthed.
